H1ORIENT is a robust process designed to automatically resolve the HOR of H1/H2 without the benefit of knowing Field Orientation and Magnetic Declination values. Nonzero offset impulse responses of the 3D shot profile WEM of P-S converted waves. The red picks show the CCP at the bottom of the migration ellipses. The blue arrow shows the downward going P-wave of the source and green arrow upward going converted S-wave to the receiver. The asymmetric amplitude response is natural to converted wave shot profile migration. (Ng, 2014, GeoConvention)
