Conventionally, when we display seismic data, we consider it to be either a series of individual wiggle traces or a well-sampled image. Both displays are visual approximations brought about by our historical need to project what is, in reality, a three dimensional surface onto a two dimensional plane.  Divestco pioneered the development of SeisScape™ displays, which take full advantage of the latest graphics technology to display seismic data in its natural three-dimensional form and continues to lead the industry in researching the nature of the multifaceted seismic surface.
